Shields (2017)

The acrylic panels suggest a portal to a form of storytelling, to document the contemporary myth-making of everyday symbols like the smartphone cover and the evolution of our interiors both architectually and micro-cosmically.

Striking a cord between what can seem ancient and futuristic, exploring what forms and colour signify, like the RGB combination, in a time where everything is constantly appropriated, can we see interiors and ornamentation as by-products of the evolution of human in the modern world in our digital age of constant flux?.

Materials: Digital collage, acrylic, UV-print, laser engraving. Size: 28cm x 28cm.
